Because most hourly wage workers live with relatively little financial margin, they often do not have enough cash on hand to effectively address issues that almost everyone eventually faces. Problems like unexpected illness, injury, a family emergency, or a transportation issue can quickly disrupt a healthy routine that someone has worked hard to establish. Not only does the person then face the problem itself, but if they are not able to get back to work quickly, the income they miss starts to add up. Seemingly minor issues can turn into major setbacks.

This fund will provide relief grants for specific issues or remove particular barriers so that impacted Team Members are empowered to return to their jobs quickly and with minimal financial set-backs. Grants should provide restorative solutions so that the impact of a disruptive event is minimized and people get back to building stability and success primarily through their own work.

This program also allows Team Members to make contributions that provide assistance to others. It has been particularly encouraging to hear the desire our Team Members have expressed to make give money toward the needs of others. We invite clients, brand champions, and friends and family to join our Team Members and include this program in their charitable giving.
